I have about 3 scripts to track the clicks on my site and till now they have proven to be fairely acurate.
just today all 3 are showing about 10 clicks and adsense is reporting 23 :s I have never seen this before

any explanation

Your Adsense is up to minus 3 hours (usually about 1.5 hours), you can't compare it to realtime tracking.

If after 3 hours after the end of the day they don't match then you have a problem.

ok I know that and that's why I am worried

if Adsense report lags, then I should have MORE in the realtime tracking not LESS

There was a click dump earlier today from the weekend. things always get screwy for about 2 days after they do maintenance.

Sorry I read it too quick, I thought you were stating the reverse.

Yeah that is weird but I think BigDave is right.

Click tracking software is not compatible with all browsers. Most that I have seen don't even work on Firefox.

Thanks everyone for the answers, click dump seems a good solution

Click dumps are always a godd solution - where do I get them from?

(I'm told they're advertised on e-bay)
