Has Google started a "private club"

Related links is a little confusing.

First: You can access the area without being logged in

Second: You can get the unit also not logged in

Third: You are allowed to click the links in it on your site.

Fourth: If you have 50,000 or more PV's a day you should contact Google.

The units look good but Do they pay we humble small publishers or only those with all the impressions?

As I said, very confusing.

Anyone care to explain this to my addled brain?

They are free ads, as in non paying for publishers, that's why you don't have to login.

It's just for people who want to throw a bunch of quick ad/links on their site. I am sure Google is making money somehow on the other end. Maybe if you have over 50,000 PVs they'll cut you in?

What's addled mean? ;)

Yep, a smaller publisher would be nuts to use them.

Doesn't seem fair to me to "cut in" the big boys and leave us behind. :( But who ever said they were fair?

I only get about a million PVs a month so that let's me out.

P.S.

They are nicer appearing than any available to us and that is also kinda unfair.

Addled means stirred up by thinking too much...much like shaking up an egg before breaking it. :)
