VAT in Europe?

How do you manage adsense with tax authorities?

Does anyone have any experiences with AdSense and VAT and tax authorities?

Some of the laws and regulations seem to be a bit contradictory.

Although I live in France, my business is registered, and VAT registered in UK. I spoke to VAT office and they told me that Adsense revenue is not VATable as it is deemed earnings.

I talked to my accountant about this and VAt is not applicable if it comes from outside your nation

Google operates Adsense (for me anyway) out of Google Inc in the US, hence there is no need to charge VAT from within the EU countries AFAIK.

If the view is that AdSense income is not liable for VAT because it is classed as earnings, is there a requirement that it is subject to income tax instead of corporation tax?
