Have some very tacky ads on my site which I have tried to filter - 48 hours later they are still there. Anyone else having the same prob?

Yes! and I have come to conclude that the algo has decided that I really didn't mean to filter that site so it goes ahead and shows the ad anyways... for my own good. Kinda like ordering a hamburger and getting a cheeseburger in the bag... because you know... I really wanted cheese on my hamburger... who doesen't like cheese? Not putting cheese on your hamburger or filtering sites is like supporting terrorism. IT'S ANARCHY BABY! [/end of rant]

I assume you report these sites to G. Maybe they are managing to bypass the algorithm somehow, but it sounds as though they are breaking the TOS in any case.

The filter just does not work.
I exchanged like 3-4 mail with G. support trying to get rid of some MFAs on my site but with no luck. I just gave it up.

Use the preview tool to get the URL it is actually sending the traffic to. Do not relay on the shown URL having anything to do with what you need to block. [advertisers can edit the shown URL at will]
Yes it's a major pain if you do not use MSIE on a regular basis as it means you need to shift to it in order to see where is ponts to.
