You mean CTR, which is click-through rate. CPM (not CRM) is "cost per thousand" which is a way to compare how well different pages are doing. A page with a low CTR and high-value clicks can have a better CPM than a page with a high CTR but low-value clicks.

There's a whole thread currently running about "why people click".

As a guide - if your site is full of good content in keeping with what attracted people to visit you in the first place, you should attract some good quality advertisers.

Don't hide your Ads but don't over emphasise them either.

I got rid of my CRT a while ago. Now I got an LCD and believe it or not, my CTR went up as soon as I disconnected the CRT and attached the LCD!
