You still can make money with Adsense

Sometimes when a new Adsenser is told to create original content, he responds that he doesn't know anything about any kind of widgets at all. Although I don't have a clue to how one could really know nothing about any kind of widgets (what kind of conversations do these people have?), I thought I'd do some sort of experiment.

Over a month ago I started a website about widgets I really don't know nothing about. How is that possible, one might ask. Well, the trick is I exploit the fact that I have absolutely no knowledge about these widgets. My website describes:

- the problems I face while using widgets I absolutely do not understand
- the mistakes I make and the damage I cause by using these widgets
- the way true widget veterans respond to the stupid questions I ask them about widgets
- etcetera, etcetera.

Know what, it darn well works.
Right now I am making cash from the fact that I don't know anything about widgets.

So never again ask other forummembers for a topic for your website.
It really doesn't matter as long as you have fun. Just go for it.

Remind me to backup the Internet in case we need to restore to a known good version if humblebeginnings experiment corrupts it.

An idea that gives rise to a new meta tag:

I may not know Jack, but I've heard of him. He's the guy with the round head that talks about chicken sandwiches, right?

Now, if you managed to write a small piece of codes with certain kind of AI that can re-organize the contents of an article and duplicate its "value" .... :P

So, can I create a site detailing how little I know about high-paying adsense keywords?

Sorry, HB nobody seems to take you seriously :-)
I must say it's a good idea, though.

I have seen the sites of a couple of members of WWM that are exactly the same idea.

Related general advice: if you want to keep your site hidden don't use the same nickname here AND on other sites where you show your URLS :-)

Hi youfoundjake,

There never has been a "known good" version of the Internet. Trust me, I used to run an ISP and got asked to "fix" the Internet several times by customers! B^>

You folks will all worship me when I make my second dollar with my site about the fact that I don't know nothing about chicken sandwiches. Here's looking at you Jack. Whatever. Hehe.

More (related?) advice.

Don't assume that WW ids are used only by WW members. On other sites the id might well actually be someone else.

HB actually does have a good point. I started publishing about things I know(or I should say, knew) nothing about at least a year ago. I've found that if I am writing about something I knew well, I tend to skip information that would be essential to newbies. Things that I falsely assume they already know. So I started a cluster of mini websites "for beginners". I learn it then I write about it, but in my case, I don't tell them that I have just learnt it myself. A site about a hobby of mine since I was a toddler failed miserably. On the other hand, another site about something I just heard about and wanted to try it out, has been very successful.

Because there are too many thumb sucking sites already, niche research is the ABC of this business.

Just send them a new floppy, I heard some stories about customers requesting that the internet be sent to them. But you gotta remember, then they can only look at the innernet if they take the pepsi out of the bottle holder on their 'puter

I actually think that well done pages by people that are newbies to an area are very informative.

An expert on hammocks, is likely to just tell you to tie your hammock to an appropriate tree. A novice is going to mention the mistakes they made by not knowing the right type of knot, tying to trees that were too small, or trees that were badly spaced.

It is still expert information, not on hammocks, but on being a newbie with hammocks.

The sad part is, there is actually some truth in the OP's original post.

A few days ago, I ran across some (yet another) spamcrap site full of ads, and the basic heading on the page was "we don't really know much about <stuff>, so we are listing below links to places that do".

It's called good copy writing, my vote is for the expert that knows how to write.
An eager novice on any topic with enough research can probably put some OK content together given writing skills, but after a short while with enough persistence and grey matter, she is not a novice anymore, by the time the money is flowing she is an expert, so if we are talking about novice writing novice content, then no, doesn't make sense, expert writing well, I see dollar signs, research is getting easier every day, what's rare is professional writing skills, content that converts, and scores well with search engines, the rest is just noise.

Could I expand on HB's original point, and warn newbies away from the advice that you must LIKE what you write about. There's nothing wrong with liking your subject, but hardly necesary for success.

When a medical problem hit my family, I knew little about it. I found I could build a website that included the perspective of a victim (so to speak) who needed info and had no prior knowledge of the issue.

Thats my most successful site so far, but I hate the whole topic and wish it had never crossed my path.

It sounds to me like you folks are talking about building sites about subjects you knew little or nothing about.... until you made an effort to learn about it for whatever reason including so you could build a new site.

As opposed to just popping up a site about something you know nothing about and make no effort to learn about it. Just going ahead and posting uninformed comments.

Right?

Because there is a BIG difference and we wouldn't want to mislead anyone into thinking the pot of money is just around the corner for the lazy.

There was a thread here on this topic a few weeks ago. The speculation was that if AdSense ever actually did crack down on the MFA's, sites of the type described above would be their next frontier.
