Adsense Channels

Any way of getting more than 200?

It drives me crazy that I cannot have more than 200 active channels at any one time. As I have thousands of pages on numerous sites it is extremely difficult to keep tabs on everything. It is not possible to have different Adsense accounts - which would sort of solve the problem. Has anyone managed to get their number of active channels increased? :))

There have been a couple of people mention recently that they have managed to obtain more than one AdSense account for a household, provided there is good reason.
It comes with the warning however that if one account is shut down for breach of TOS, all those accounts that are related to it would also be shut down.

More than one account for the same web site?
I am sure Google would refuse your request, but if I were you I'd ask for more channels not accounts.

You could group the pages into folders of like performing content and track the folders/directories instead of individual pages.

Or is that the way you are set up now?

Adsense have said they do not allow more than one account - unlike Adwords. Has anyone out there managed to legally get two accounts out of Adsense? I'd be interested to know. I have asked Adsense about obtaining extra channels, but they just reply that this is not available at present. I currently do group items in folders & directories, but this is still extremely difficult to monitor. But thanks for the advice. Guess I'll bat on in the blind until such a time as Adsense either increases its channels or proffers another account. :)

Actually we need things to be by each website url.

200 channels per website url

200 lines per website url for the "bad guy" filter

They should merge AdSense channel stats with technology/functionality from Google Analytics. That would let them hopefully give revenues on a page by page basis.

And, while they're at it, let us enable Google Analytics for a domain simply by putting a "toggle" on the AdSense preferences, without having to put in a separate Google Analytics javascript snippet on each page.

That would be a big help.

I'm not so sure filter list by website would be a great help. It would open up the list some, but I think, at least in my case, a great number of the offending advertisers would have to be repeated on each site's list, thereby losing most of the benefit of separate lists.

Khensu - I think that would certainly help. Also I definately have instances when I would like to drop an advertiser for one of my websites but not for another - so a competitive ad filter per domain would be fantastic - and perhaps librate some of the comp. ad filter space. However, saying that 200 channels per domain would still not help me on one of my sites which has significantly more pages than that. What would be really great is if they just told you the stats by pages that have had impressions/clicks. :))
