AdSense for Search - improving CPC

CPC seems to be on the rise for AdSense Search

I've had AdSense for search on my site since the beginning of the year after a major redesign. I was getting a pretty terrible CPC from it, but I didn't care much about that as I wanted a decent search option for my visitors. (I have a portal-like site)

Recently the CPC for search seems to be improving, I'm constantly seeing an average CPC of between 30 - 60 cents, this has been going on for the last six weeks or so. (With the usual ups and downs of course)

Anyone else seeing this trend?

Not on my site. It's earning me a lot less than that per click, adding up to about a dollar a week.

Mine's been pretty constant since I added it in February. My guess is that it is gettin bid up in your niche, but not mine.

I looked yesterday - for the past six weeks, search income has accounted for about 45% of my earnings, which is WAY up from what it was. CPCs are running higher than the clicks. Me, I'm all about the search these days...
