Adsense Search Results Not Clickable

work fine in Firefox, but not in IE

I am running Adsense on two websites and both have the Google Adsense Search with the search results displayed on the websites themselves.

In the case of both websites, when I use the IE browser and click on the search results, nothing happens. When I use Firefox, clicking on a search result link takes me to the proper page.

However, when using IE, if I right click on the search results links and select "open in new window", then the correct page does open in the new window.

One difference: I am using Firefox at home. The IE browser is at work. Could the work computer be configured (for security) in a way that is causing this?

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Obviously, I need to try IE at home. I was rushed to get to work this morning. I wondered if anyone else had noticed this problem. There's more evidence that it's a work-related problem: I cannot login to my Google analytics account at work, but at home there's not problem. I'm hoping it's something to do with the security setting on the work computer. (I work in a large government organization.)

Google is having some very weird problems with their servers. I've been getting something similar with regular search as well.

Here's an interesting question:

How do you know the search results are not clickable? We're not supposed to click on links in our own Adsense search results. It's sounds like you're doing it repeatedly, on several machines and browsers. That's a big no-no.

We can click on the search results, but not on the ads...
