Am I out of the smart pricing penalty box?

Starting on the first of the month and continuing, I have noticed a doubling of the ecpm. The same ads are showing up as before, only now I'm making twice as much :). The CTR has gone up slightly also since the 1st.

Did I get out of some smart pricing penalty, or are people just willing to spend a heck of a lot more cash over a long holiday weekend for the same ads ( don't think so)?

Site in question has been in my quiver of sites since June 2006. None of my other sites have shown any noticeable increase in ecpm except for this one.

I got a "normal" August, but since the 1st of september, -40% of CTR and EPC, too, -40% of income.

But this just too soon to drive any conclusion that if I am in another SP penalty box :P

I've had an abnormaly high eCPM too. I just had the highest CPM since 2003 roughly double the past two years average.

Not trying to offend, but I start to think the AI of AW/AS has become a sign of "big fool" instead of intelligence.

Simply is the Best, Google may not agree with that... :P
