Oddly enough, they have thought of this. If you opt for white URL on a white background for example, the ads will then show in the Google default theme. You can mess with the colours in the code, but the system will override the choice when it comes to serving the ads. It's probably not worth trying just in case they make note of you trying it on!
If all the parties, 1) you 2) Google 3) the advertiser (AdWords client) and 4) the potential buyer (the ad clicker) were aware of all your tricks would they still all be happy with it?
If the answer is no, you should carefully examine and ponder what you are doing lest your account be in danger.

Hey guys - I think he's a newbie asking questions. Cut him some slack eh?
No disputing that david_uk, he's rapidly going to the top of the tree for asking "how to do this", "can I do that", "what if I did this" and "can I change such and such"...
Trying to sail as close to the wind as possible comes to mind:-)
Why is it so hard for people to grasp the concept. Take the code exactly as google creates it, paste it on your site, and never click your own ads. Don't play games.
When I discovered adsense, I was so grateful that it is so simple.
Every day when I wake up there's some more money in my account.
(Now the creation of useful websites with original content, that's a lot of very hard work.)
It's a moot point.
'Tis possible to do however I ain't telling how!
Plus, why would anyone want to do it anyway?
