Link Units - Must "ads by google" be in bold?

The actual ads are regular font, the "ads by google" on bold!

This seems gosh darn RIDICULOUS.

Must google bold the fact they are google ads? How about bolding the actual link ads?

Anyone know if this can be changed? My text ad units dont have this bolding problem...

Some publishers position link units to make them appear like site navigation. Bolding the "Ads by Google" may be an attempt to counteract any deception, intended or unintended.

My question is: are ALL link units like this? bolded the "Ads by Google"?

Can I do anything about it?

Hubie, a Zen approach to AdSense can reduce your stress. The bold is the way those are set up, but they are in a pretty small font size. Don't stress about it. Try them. See what works.

You may not like that font. Your visitors may not care one way or the other.

Ads by Google = These are trusted links

(thats why MFAs and scrapers are bad in Adwords)
