EFT Deposits: How much quicker than the Check

I have my account verified for EFT, and I hit the $100+ mark several weeks ago. So, normally I would receive a check around the end of September. If I understand this correctly, is it possible I will have an EFT transfer to my bank account within the first week of September?

If it's any help:

I opened my Adsense Account in June 06 - at the end of June I was due some $70 - so no money from June.

In any case, I had not received my PIN to verify my account by the 15th July cut off date.

I received my PIN on 22nd July and verified my account.

I crossed the $100 threshold on 4th July.

My bank received my first payment (for June and July) on 29th August 06

No- EFTs are made about the same time checks are sent. So the EFT should hit your bank the same day, whereas the check will get to you whenever the post office gets around to delivering it.

the check will get to you whenever the post office gets around to delivering it.

And, depending on your bank, you may have to wait for the funds to clear even after you get the check.

Well, that's great, but 1) I don't have any plans to go to Milan, 2) I don't live in the UK, and 3) I don't have 10 years to scan a thread. :)

I used to receive my cheque around the 20th each month and now that I've gone to EFT I receive payment about three or four days later.

It really doesn't matter to me as I know it's reliable. I still receive payments at one month intervals, in any case.

It's a non-issue but if anything it's more convenient because there is no longer any need to go to the bank.
