Question regarding Adsense Earnings

Today when I checked my earnings it was $1.57 at about 5 PM. When I checked again it was $1.50 at 6 PM. There was no change in the clicks at both times. Why was earnings got decreased. I still can't found out. Is it also happen to anybody else.

Different data centers update at different times. Or a click might have been found to be invalid and subtracted automatically. Did impressions and clicks change too?

Well, that was just going to happen ...

First you had the $1.00 clicks, then the $0.10 clicks, everybody complains about the $0.01, and you were the first to get a -$0.07 click. Congratulations!

On a more serious note, clicks get discounted (because they are considere not to be valid) at very random times, and you just happened to see one being discounted "live".

Each query you make on google is cached localy (with a local side browser cache) which in effect reduces the system load at google on their databases.

(maybe they implemented local side cache for the addicted checking every 15 minute members to stop them looking each second).

Anyway the point is, try a query with a different date range, it's more live than anything :) (without a doubt there is a delay that is introduced in the system you can't bypass that's probably the only thing you can't get around)

I've seen this happen. It's always come back by the end of the day - I assumed it was a quirk with updating the stats.
