Earlier this month I added AdSense for Search on my site. The amount per click wasn't great, but I left it there to see how it would perform over time.

A few days ago, I noticed there is a Competitve Ad Filter list for Search in addition to the one we usually use, and it was empty. I went to the regular list, put the cursor in it, selected all, copied it, and then pasted it into the Search filter.

Yesterday the earnings per click doubled. Filtering out many of the ads from junk sites didn't hurt.

It looks like the amount earned fluctuates quite a bit. When I noticed an increase, I attributed it to the filtering I had added. However, today I see Search clicks are paying less than normal.
