Adsense VS ValueClick on Forum

How much $$ does Valueclick pay?

I have a forum and am looking to run some pay-per-impression ads :)
does Valueclick pay well? I'm thinking it might perform better on my forum than Adsense but I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it...

I used VC a few years ago, and they stunk. Stick with AS.

Ok, stupid question, but do Google's Image ads only pay per impression? or do they ppc too?

I havea large # of impressions so I am looking for a PPI system

In theory, Pay Per Impression is great on forums, in reality, turning forums into advertising dollars means you pointing your visitors to RELEVANT content, and turning that massive strenght, being the audience, into a hurde of content-readers....

You have the traffic, now make it move!

I don't think you can use fastclick/valueclick on a forum. At least last time I read their TOS you couldn't.

Tribal fusion is a better bet than VC. Been using them, AS, and vc/fc for a number of years but FC/VC went downhill and now I wouldn't have them on my site.

I've integrated the forum with the site more so they blend and the "forum people" are able to read the content pages easily.
I have set Adsense to only display to unregistered visitors, I get a much better CTR that way, and when I dont' the CTR gets low and my entire earnings seem to come down (makes me thing CTR is part of smartpricing).

I do get clicks with Adsense on the forum, it's not that great but it pays for itself, but I thought PPI would make me more :)

I won't recommend ValueClick, If you are a small publisher they will not pay you and won't reply to your emails, STRANGE but that's my experience.

But how about Tribalfusion? Although I looked at their advertisors and I really don't see many in my niche...

20,000 page views per day for site + forum. Any way to make $$ off of that?
