I have seen lots of discussion regarding people kicked out of AdSense (and sometimes later reinstated) for possible click fraud, but haven't seen any similar threads like this.
Is this an appealable offense? If I code the page to not display ads, or even delete it entirely, is there a possibility of getting ad serving re-enabled on the site? (And hope that that page wasn't the highest paying!)
On the one hand, major bummer. On the other hand, I received an eMail today from someone offering to pay me more than I've made in AdSense so far this year just for a link on the site.
Of course, I'd prefer the combined income. ;-)
I've gone through and coded it so the AdSense code will no longer appear on the page in violation. I also went through and excepted other content pages that might possibly be viewed as being in violation.
I hope I haven't been too ultra picky in eliminating pages from AdSense, but I figure maybe I'll have a better chance of getting back in if I remove from AdSense serving any page that has even the slightest hint of grey.
I've uploaded the corrected page so that the (disabled) AdSense code will not display on those pages. But, I don't think I'll write Google just yet to ask for re-inclusion. I think I'll first go through the site with a fine tooth comb and except anything from AdSense that might pose a problem.
I'll probably end up making half as much as I did before, but, hey, it's like free money, so can't complain too much.
