An sudden increase in CTR and earnings made me take a look at my web stats.
When I saw a big bar 4x the size of the rest in a determined hour, I felt die. I was under a click attack, I thought.
I was to my detailed log and I saw someone with a referal from an african country and a referal from google from this same country having more than 300 page views where my average is like 3 to 8.
This is the point where I saw my google checks saying goodbye, something was terrible wrong, I guessed.
I went to further details and found just 3 clicks from this guy, whew ...
Going to google adsense panel I realize that I have had bigger CTR than today, a dozen times in one year with adsense. So, it is not expectaculary high, just high, I guess...
Whew ...
I was wondering whether report this or not. The coincidence of a good CTR day makes me think.
But I guess Google will not be interested because a guy decided to look each section and each page of my site all day long.
What do you think?

I am new to adsense. I wanted to know how to maintain the detailed log of all the clicks made in my site, just in case I am under attack.... Plz do reply.

report it to google, i had the same this month, around 1000 clicks in a few minutes that appeared from nowehere. when informed google said that they would monitor my account and thanked me for the prompt information. i guess that informing them is better than doing nothing because if google halts your account you can start checking first what was wrong when, search for details etc etc etc.

If you're somehow sure this particular visitor clicked only 3 ads, then probably nothing to worry about. He must've just really enjoyed reading your site.

I have, on a few rare occasions, spent all day on a site I've found particularly interesting. When it's a really great site, I seem to lose all track of time and keep on reading, clicking from page to page just like I was reading a book.
