UPS Club - how proactive is your rep?

I've been working with google for quite some time now and after a lot of harassing I got a rep a while ago.

It's been around six months, in this time I've shown about 1.6 billion google ad units and my rep has never contacted me. He usually replies within a few days after I email him with questions, but other than that there is little to no line of communication.

The only time google ever contacts me is with policy violations (since so much of my content is user created, it can be hard to police it all) and I'm becoming really dissatisfied with them.

Is this the standard experience with AdSense reps? Are they only supposed to be dedicated support people or are they actually supposed to help out and be useful? This has never been made clear to me. Should I be asking for a new rep? Ditching Google? I've heard that only the squeaky wheel gets greased over there, but I really don't feel I should have to harass my rep to get him to take a proactive approach to my stuff.

Has anyone else been in a similar position?

How did You get him?

I would be happy to have one.

It's really frustrating to have a wall of silence, when it comes up to talk about the June 27th disaster with the search traffic.

honestly, you need to just find a name there and start nagging them as much as you can about it if you have the volume. but as you can see, from my post, it did me little good.

I usually turn down offers from Google to help optimize my site for AdSense. What exactly do you want your rep to do?

I don't have a very frequent contact with my rep either, but he emailed me first and I got a few phone calls from him. jetteroheller, I don't think they'd tell you anything new about the June 27th "data refresh" anyway. Different departments and all that...

I lost my rankings last year with Jagger and my rep forwarded my emails to their search department. I only get occasional emails from my rep and she is the one who calls me when I send questions to their email support.
