How to get started with Adsense

Can anybody Suggest

Hi,
I am Christanand,from Bangalore.i knew little about Adsense few months ago But i could not believe it early...
and recently visited Webmaster's site...Here i saw many postings..i got confused what they were discussing..So finally dicided to ask our guys.
So anybody please tell me whether can i make that Adsense work for me
Because it requires a Website, what are all the initial steps to get into Adsense..what wil be the intial investment..etc etc.

Hi Christanand,
You are 1/4 way through now already by getting here.
You need to read this forum like a religious book for as long as you can, that takes care of number one.

Two: Build a web site after choosing a topic you are interested in.

Three: Build traffic, lookup SEO and apply good practices

Four: Apply for AdSense when your traffic and content are picking up.

now i have understood that,it is important to read this Forum..
ok i try to keep updates.. But sir how can i kno that the website of my favorite topic will generate Huge traffic...
however i am interested in opening an IT related Site,But i am thinking whether it is possible to make such a site which will include many different TOPICS...?
or else suggest me any such site,which can generate huge TRAFFIC.

go for what you enjoy reading and writing about

christanand, if you really need to see samples of websites and know their earnings, lookup Google AdSense case studies and you will find plenty with full details.
Most members here would rather keep their site information private to avoid adding competition and makes them participate in this forum more freely.
