Adsense ads changed. Now, only the link is clickable.

Correction: Only the links are clickable on Google's site ads.

Not that I'm game to try and click on any of them, but I definitely get 'the finger' when I hover over the main text of the ad. Is that the part you mean is not clickable now?

Sorry, I should clarify.

On Google's search results, only the links themselves are clickable.

On my page's Adsense ads, the whole ad area is clickable.

I understand why Google does the latter.

Have Google's ads on its search results always had only the link (not the text) as clickable?
