Just noticed the AdSense pages are now showing the last login time, and there's a new link "Site Diagnostics" which is supposed to display info about URLs the adsense bot was unable to crawl.

Wow, are you checking your account once every month or so ;)
Hmm, I'm sure it wasn't there yesterday. Maybe it's being selectively enabled?
The "last login" is definitely new though.

I have never seen it until yesterday. It said, "Last login: 20 hours."

OK, I've finally seen the "last login" thing.
And the value of this info is ..... what?

The only value I see in this is that you can see whether someone else is using the same account. If the time of the last login is not what you remember it to be (and this keeps on happening), then you know that your account may have been compromised.

I expect they'll start adding notes like "last Login 3 minutes ago, give it a rest why don't you?"
Also, when will they bring the increments down to seconds so I can get the truth?
Last login: 0 minutes ago

I just saw "last logged in" as well. I can see how it could be helpful. I like the feature.

When it says, "You've already been here today, get lost!" I thought that would be a helpful reminder.

I think that it meant to relieve the google's datacenters by reminding the adsense publishers that they are checking too frequently. It can act as a warning for the frequenters! :)

Not seeing the "Oi - quit hammering our servers every 20 seconds you sad muppet" message in the UK, but am seeing the crawler diagnostics. It might be useful and certainly worth keeping an eye on.

I wonder if G keeps a record of the users that log in the most?
Maybe it does matter, as it might slow down their servers when too many people log in at the same time.
Just a thought...

Infact If they can add Security Notifications(By Email) when there is a change in your account settings like EFT or cheque details ,Postal address,Password change that will be more usefull and will give you a feeling that your account is safe even if someone manage to hack your password.
Many Sites like namecheap.com provide these facilties.
