Hi

Im a newbie with Adsense, and was wondering if someone could clear something up for me....

Are you allowed to put non-Adsense ads on your site in addition to Adsense?

Does it depend on the content of the non-Adsense ads?

Say for example I was running a cooking related website (Im not!) And I have cooking related Adsense ads. Could I also have a banner for something non-cooking related? Like a banner for webhosting, or a webserver.

Thanks

Dagford

You can display conventional banners on a page where you also display Adsense. You can't display another form of contextual advertising on the same page. This is to prevent users believing non Google ads are Google ads.

Thanks Mack

And can the topic of my banner ad be anything?

So in my cooking example...it would be possible to include a banner for a cooking school?

My point being, is it OK to have a banner ad from a company who is a direct competitor to one of my Adsense advertisers?
