There Is A Way Without Adsense

I got booted from Adsense a month or so ago. Some of you may remember. Well right now I'm doing great, without adsense to boot! I am using valueclick media which is working great and have a subscription service. Basically, I am just telling those who think adsense is the only way, that it really isnt if you have enough will power.

Of course...and you can also dump your boyfriend...breakups often lead to improvements! I'm glad yours did...Adsense is just like the #*$!ty, whiney guy who paid for dinner and sweet talked you and got his thrills while you let him but he was really a dork...sure he may have some pleasuring potential but in the long run it won't go anywhere...they all want a piece of you...stand alone and stand strong!

Thank you TurtleHurricaine,

I think I would be in the same boat if I were dumped so it pays to plan ahead and keep a backup plan and estimated time of getting it uploaded.

I am glad you are doing well.

Glad it's working out for you. Clearly there are other ways to monetise sites, and for many people there may be better ways to do it than Google. Selling your own ad space and other banner / affilliate programs for starters.

Valueclick does have the advantage of being able to reject the advertisers you don't want on your site, and it doesn't have smsrt pricing. The payment structure is very clear. However, the earnings are about 1/20 those of my Google earnings.

Indeed valueclick earnings are lower, it is something though. I am going to try and get tribal fusion as well. I will keep valueclick there because they have been good for me and customer service is good.

Also, for all new people (i myself am new as well, only 3 months or so) all that matters is content, content, content. Do not get all focused on adsense or any other advertising thing. There is no doubt you will be successful if you keep adding original content.

I just dropped Tribal fusion and fastclick/valueclick as they are well known for their crap ads. Even some of the banners spawn popups and no matter how much time you kill them or disallow it the ads keep coming back with a new incarnation (URL)

Tired of looking for those things EVERY day and having to keep such a close eye on them....not set it and go do some work companies...they are your work.

I've done a small test with ValueClick after dumping it a year or so ago for the exact same reason as Ann. The dodgy ads are still there and have to be watched continuously.

The first 500 impressions yesterday earned a dizzy 11 cents.

I guarantee it will not change my lifestyle.

Have you tried Y! or Chitika?

I use VC, but I also use Casale Media as my default. I much prefer Casale, but I'm waiting for AdSense to someday pay me something along the lines of something reasonable - like what they were paying in April 2005. Still hopeful, but building more pages.

I was thinking of joining Chitika. So I emailed them a simple question about business addresses and they didn't reply. Emailed them a few days later and again, no reply.

In my opinion, if that's the kind of support they provide to (applicant) publishers you're better off with Google.

I was thinking of using Valueclick, but I need a little help. I read everything I could find on their site and its so full of corporate style language I'm still no wiser.

Can anyone point me to where a publisher actually signs up?

Chitika is a great idea, IMHO. But it's effectiveness highly depends on your audience and on the kind of website you have. Anyway, since it can be on a page with almost anything else, I think it is worth a try.

A few years back I started getting the valueclick crap ads on my site, not only spawning pop-ups but installing spyware on people's computers! I wrote to them demanding such ads stop appearing on my site. First their response was like "What ads? We don't run such ads on our network." Their next response was, "Okay, we'll stop serving those." I haven't seen them since, nor have I had to play whack a mole with them. There's obviously two lists of publishers, those who get the crap ads and those who don't. You can get yourself on the second list with a few forceful emails.

I have only made some loose change with Chitika, compared with Adsense, however, it is one of the few products that is compatible to display on the same page.

If you are familiar with the eMini Malls ads, they "dress up" a page nicely that may be lacking in photos or graphics otherwise.

Chitika support recently pointed me to this page to "test" keywords. You may find it useful whether you already have an account or not.

Alex-Miles, heres where you join

[admin.valueclickmedia.com...]

BTW, valueclick seems very reputable, no spyware or bad ads for me.

I just signed up for Casale Media. Do any of you have experience with them? If so, how was it?
