Just curious to know how GA select ads to display in web page.

As a little background, I already with GA for 3 years displaying ads in my automotive website.

Half year ago, I have one relative new domain name and create a residential forum in the subdomain. After about 4 months, I put just one index page in my domain with lots of keyword about house and home.

Surprisingly the ads display result is completely different in the domain with www. (correctly displaying property related ads) and the one without www. (still displaying automotive related ads).

And this things already happen for around 3 weeks.

Just wonder how GA decide to put ads in web page?

Not sure why you would have ads targeted differently across a "www" domain and a "non-www" domain, but there are a lot of algorithm tweaks Google uses to display ads.

No one knows exactly how Google's algorithm works, but you may have to adjust keywords on the non-www page to see what works best.

Thanks Celgins for the tips.

But in my test case the website only have 1 page (index.htm).
It is just how GA handle this page that makes me wondering.

The bunch of ads category display are different when we access the web through http://www.example.com compare with http://example.com
