I just noticed a news site that gets a lot of traffic is displaying findology on some of its pages where AdSense used to appear.

I wonder if this is one of those tests where AdSense is dumped for a while like some people here dump their AdSense filter list to see what happens?

Anyone tried dumping AdSense and replacing it with findology?

bidvertiser sucks. I got their e-mail saying they have trippled CPC.

Those high paying ads never showed, only poker, sex which (if you're lucky) bring you 5cents per click. I have also heared they are very likely to close your account before they have to send you payment. Don't waste your time of them. If you want to try some else CPC program than Adsense, try YPN or Adbrite.

I have had around 60-70$ pay from Bidvertiser to paypal, but in adsense that would of been 1000$+ for the same amount of traffic + clicks.

Never heard of Findology. Thanks for mentioning it.

The targeting looked good on the page where I saw it.

I've never heard of Findology either.

However, it is possible that this news site is experimenting with it on a few pages and hasn't totally dumped Adsense.

Hi

I use AdBrite.

1) It isn't contextual (so you can use it with AdSense).

2) Revenue is tiny compared to AdSense for me,

3) They have some interesting locations carrying their ads, and there's some good traffic to be found if you spend the time.

I am using adbrite on some of my pages, 10times lower revenue than adsense... Anyone heard about Oxado? I think it is european company, and they pay in €.

So is it official that AdBrite can be used in conjunction with AdSense?

I have seen adbrite together with adsense, but i am not using both of them on the same page.

Can I use adsense as a default to my banner ads (Casale, ValueClick)?

Farmboy, looking around, I think Findology used to be Wayads - a company that helped establish the reputation Overture (GoTo) still has for dodgy search partners.

Massive amounts of fraudulent clicks were said to come from WayAds. In the space of an hour your entire monthly GoTo budget could be drained.

It would seem this was done by encouraging their users to click on the high paying keywords at Overture, and they were promised 15c a click for doing so.

Run far far away.

Findology is supplied with ads by Miva. I spent about $100 with Miva, gots lots of cheap clicks from findology, but did not see a positive ROI.
