Google misplacing clicks in channels?

Clicks from 1 channel seem to be attributed to another

I have many websites with many channels tracked in AS. I also have my own script tracking hits and clicks on ads. In todays report one channel which has not received any hits nor clicks, AS is saying I've received 11 clicks. Meanwhile on another channel which I have tracked as receiving 4 clicks, AS is reporting none (yes these could be delayed). My script has been working for weeks and nothing has been changed.

Has anyone ever noticed G attributing clicks to the wrong channel?

These tracking scripts are just not that accurate. There are gaps where they can miss clicks or report clicks that never happened.

When you're talking about such small numbers of clicks the answer could be any of a million scenarios. AdSense misreading the channel ID is one of the less likely ones, IMO.

Mine have been pretty much on the money so far however I have to agree on the possibility.

There is also the possibility of an AS click dump.... but i've never seen one. I will pull my logs to see if there were actual visitors to that particular channel just to be sure (most like there are).
