Blocking not working?

On my website, I am having a problem with not being able to block some of the AdSense ads that I dont want displayed. They are all cheap weightloss ads. I ran a weightloss topic yesterday, but now it is off the frontpage, and the current ads are not related to today's topic.

I've added alot of the domains to my competitive ad filter, but they dont leave.

Any ideas?

Sometimes it takes a while. I have noticed up to 24 hours at least to get stuff off my front page.

wait for 3hours, if doesn't work, check landing domain and url sticked to the ad.

I was just coming in to post a similar question.

Has anyone else noticed it's taking longer for new filter entries to take effect? It used to be "hours", but urls I filtered yesterday evening are still showing at noon today.
