I have a small website cause it's new it's been online for a month and half and i have only around 250 unique visitors daily at the moment.

To monitor my website i'm using AwStats and it shows 250 uniques per day. This means there should be atleast 250 impressions on my google account, but there isn't. There's just like 120 or even less. Now i was wondering maybe it's AwStats that doesn't calculate right how much people do i get on my website... or maybe Google doesn't count all the impressions.

As far as i know it counts an impression when an add is shown to the user. I have 1 google add on every page of my website. So it should count more than my unique user visits as every user checks avarage 2 pages on my website...

Now ... is this normal? Does this mean i should get a new statistic tool to check how many visits i really have per day on my website?

Many People use adblockers, that skip ads.
Also many visitors are only bots that don't interprete JavaScript so that adsense doesn't recognize them.

I use awstats, adsense and G Analytics;
It's hard to match the figures produced by the 3 of them,
here's sample day traffic just ilustrate that:

awstats visits 122 pages 876
g analytics visits 92 pages 209
adsense ad impressions 186

Figures produced are relative to user settings as the previous post mentiones, ad setting 1 or 2 per page, or site design as a whole. There could be an external link to a file (not necessarily a page) on the analyzed site that could count as unique to awstats, no visit to google analytics and no impression to adsense.

I find that awstats is not very accurate - it tends to overreport visitors in comparision to my own analysis of my logs.
I mostly use it for the trends, for which it is useful.
