Hi,
Does anyone have a list of most popular search words or phrases ranked by their Adwords average price?

that's it. i'm starting a list because this has to be one of the most frequently asked questions here.

no, nobody has a complete list that they are willing to share.

oh yea, welcome to webmasterworld leonf. if you look around a little bit you'll find a few threads very similar to what you're asking.

Why wound you be wanting that? You have some content pages and you were wondering what the EPC might be?

I have painstakingly compiled such a list. The cost is $5,000 US (you'll make that back in a jiffy with AdSense). I'll be happy to sell it to you but I can only accept pennies sent via US mail. If you wanna buy it just send me a sticky...

Th truth is that knowing what the #1 bid is means nothig when it comes to this. What happens to you when the #1 bidder decides to stop their ads from showing on your page? What is more important is to know what the 5-7/8 bidders are bidding.

Ahhh.... the sweet pure spirit of Adsense incarnate. Excuse me while I vomit.

[holds the bowl for ignatz while he vomits]

The point of my post was that trying to do things like targeting such as this is pointless, unless of course your point is to raise red flags and put the whole shebang at risk. Then, this is a very smart strategy!

Id rather see a list of keywords by which if Adsense deems the page to be about, they show PR ads. For example, Gambling, Porn, Pharmacy, etc.

Any high paying keywords are going to be real tough to get links to or in the top 10,000,000 in SERPS. That is why they are high paying.

You can have 10,000 pages with $10 EPC ads on them, but you will get little traffic unless you have links from a major page you control. I have tried this foolish game, and no, it did not work.

Try some bankruptcy, mortgage, etc type keywords. Those are pretty high.

Google doesn't publish such a list, but 7Search does for their PPCSE:

I have a list that I would gladly sell for 1 million dollars. Nobody is going to tell you this. Thats like asking where to find where I have my treasure buried.
