Validity of Adsense checks

I need a definite answer on this one...how long are adsnese checks valid for?

I know most US checks are valid for six months but also have had other affiliate checks (burst, amazon, allposters, etc) that have been valid for as little as 60 days...and quite a few at 90 days.

so, does anyone know how long adsense checks are valid for?

They told me they don't expire at all and that you can wait as long as you want to before you cash them in.

no... they normally have a valid period of 6 months unless stated otherwise.

You might also want to ask your bank if there's any local time limit on depositing or cashing checks. (I'm not aware of any such rules, but it's a big world!)

My understanding is that under the U.S. Uniform Commercial Code, all check are considered stale dated after six months -- which means that a bank usually will not accept them for deposit.

A company can make the check stale even quicker that the UCC limit by putting the time limit on the check. This is why you often see on a check something like “No good after 60 days.”

In neither case does this mean that you have lost your money. It just means that your check is no longer good and you would have to have Google reissue it.
