Putting adsense on new websites

Should we wait till the site has decent traffic?

I launched a new website yesterday.

Now the question I have is when should I start putting adsense ads on it.

Should I do it straightaway and risk google pulling me up for low ( quality ) traffic ...

Or Should I wait till I get some decent traffic ... unless, there is traffic, nobody is going to click anyway ..

What are your thoughts?

Actually it's quite clear that adSense does not target for new, un-googled domains.

I've just launched a new domain, and had a long exchange with an AdSense rep. The second the domain got into google, poof targeted ads.

Basically, Google confirms certain properties about the site that the mediapertner bot cennot get. So un-googled domains do not get targeted ads. Ungoogled subdomains do, IF the domain itself is googled.

Spidering is not enough, the site has to show in the index.

I agree absolutely. I am working therefore on it to place it in google index ... other web sites from google index must have links to it...
