2 Ad blocks on one page

Could it be about to happen?

The most interesting thing for me about the WebSearch utility is that it is serving ads on top and below the results.

Do you think that this could mean G is about to allow advertisers the right to place two ad blocks on one page?

It has been in the TOS for a while but ASA has said right now we cannot.

For me this would be the greatest change possible to AdSense. Thoughts?

Most likely you won't be able to make your combinations....

I think Google will allow one 468x60/728x90 and one 300x250/250x250 or something like this.

Some months ago, you could get personal approval to do this. It makes sense to say that you should have no more than 5 ads per page, rather than ad units, and it's the publisher's problem if the same ad shows 5 times, each in a single ad unit.

I would <insert terribly violent and disturbing thought here> for 1 banner and 1 sky scraper, is that too much to ask?
