Issue 2 - My pages started to recently show psa's ( this rarely happens) so I used the preview tool to see what it said and came back with a scrambled screen and scripting error message. Anyone else see that on their pages?

That new notice being sent out saying that code was being generated incorrectly is funny to say the least.
I got a personal email from Google plus the form letter telling me to change the code. I had already read a post here and changed the code before then, but was pleased by the personal attention my two inquiries received. I probably missed out on a days click stats, but my adsense totals are higher than usual (much), so I will get over whatever loss I don't know I missed!
I usually grab an opportunity before the bugs are worked out...risk taker, entreprenuer at heart...the price vs the prize...the price wasn't so high so I went for the prize :)
Well, so far high CTR, VERY LOW (and I can't stress that enough) EPC.
Hoo boy. I am running the searchbox in a fairly inconspicuous place, just to get some experience with it. So far only two clicks. I won't go into specifics of course, but the first one was the lowest I have ever happened to observe. In fact I literally did not know AdSense clicks could pay that little.
The second click paid less.
I put the code into my website copy (on my computer, not online), and Dreamweaver went COMPLETELY nuts on the display. The browser preview looks ok, but something is fishy about the code. I'm too much of a HTML newbie to know what's going on (I did most of my editing graphically, I barely have any actual HTML coding skills). I've decided not to put it online at the moment, as I'd rather wait until the code thing sorts itself out and people give some feedback on how it performs.

These EPCs surely cannot be right?
I wonder if G had realized this and choose to lock us in.... possibly to show strength from publishers to the program in the IPO
1. Are "page impressions" related to the search results page or related to the search box?
2. Are "clicks" those made on search box or those made on the paid ads in the search resuls page?

It appears to me clear why CTR is high. After visitor search with his keyword, the probability of clicking one of the Google results is high; paid ads in its prominent position are more likely to be chosen.
However, I do not find an explanation why EPC is low. If the keyword entered by the user is related to the original site theme, we are talking here about a very highly targeted traffic. (In terms of filters, second order one, at least).
In any case, I think the new product is very good and market will drive its EPC to a better level.

One thing that struck me this morning: these clicks are presumably not subject to AdSense "smart pricing". If so, then the least the advertiser could have paid is 5 cents and thus the revenue share seems to be significantly lower than with AdSense content matching.
