I've been following a series of posts on Adsense Tips. There is some good (but basic) stuff so far in it. Its got me wondering what others might give as their 'tips' for maximizing revenue?

You don't have to give away all your specific secrets, but what are some general ones that you'd share with an up and coming Adsense user.

Have good content focused on the topic of the page, split up larger pages to have each page focused on a single topic.

You get better targeting this way and you get better possibility of interested parties clicking ads.

Experiment. Experiment. And experiment.

This is the only way you can learn about the most effective ad creative to use (leaderboard vs. sky vs. rectangle, etc.) & colors to use (should you use colors that blend or contrast?). Only by experimenting can you really see what brings your OWN visitors to respond better to the ads. What works for some folks here at WW may not work for your own site.

So experiment. Then experiment some more.
