Mistargeted Ads and Title Tag

As I browse around my site, something is become very clear to me, and I can't understand it.

My community site corresponds to roughly two major topics.

What I have noticed is that for those pages that do not have well formed, explanatory title tags, the ad targeting is much better than those pages with explanatory title tags.

This is pretty frustrating, and I'm tempted to obfusicate my title tags in order to get better targeting. It just goes to show you the non-sensical things I would do to get better targeting.

Has anyone else noticed this?

An additional note, this happened after I changed the ordering, but not the content of the title tags. Can someone try this out (who is planning to anyway) and see if your targeting/epc goes down?
