If your CTR on adsense goes below .5%, can Google say that's too low so we are not allowing you to use it anymore?

Google can say that they don't want you to be a part of their program at any time, they really don't have to give you a reason.

AffiliateDreamer, AdSense doesn't work like AdWords - there is no stated minimum CTR or effective CPM required and no minimum number of impressions. I've been using AdSense for just short of a year and I've never heard of anyone beeing booted for low CTR, low earnings or low impressions. That said, I would not at all be surprised if a publisher's value to Google is taken into account when deciding how to handle fraud, perceived fraud, inquiries and TOS infractions - that is just smart business and anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that those factors are being taken into account for those situations.

If you are looking at the 0.5% because of the AdWords standard, you needn't be concerned, as JenStar indicated. That does not apply here, and AdWords advertisers are not held to it when they allow their ads to be carried on the content network (i.e. AdSense).
