Adsense sends out googlebot

Do new pages form part of the new index?

Ive noticed that if a page on a website that isn't in the google index happens to have some 'adsense' code within, then google sends out a bot to spider it.

Does anyone know if these spidered pages form part of any new index, or are they used to simply, fine tune subsequent adsense delivery?

That Bot is different from the regular Googlebot. The Purpose of this Bot is to index your site for Adsense targetting.

does anyone know the agent name google sends? is it called googlebot as usual? the same bot doing different function or different bot?
