Does google help in any way to count how many impressions of alternative ad url ocurrs?
Can you determine that counting how many impressions adsense count and substracting that number to the page impresions in your stats?....
Any other ideas?
With some extremely popular sites the logfiles have to be updated weekly to save on space.... also not every site has logging enabled and on some the webmasters don't have access to the raw logfiles or statistics based on them.
However a tracking graphic in the alternate ad URL provided for Google would allow for at measurement of the total at least.
Google's first Adsense concern must (as is the way of things) be with its advertisers, but secondly with its publishers. Although most in the Adsense program are "small fry" that it wouldn't hurt Google's bottom line to lose - they don't have the near monopoly on contextual advertising that they used to.
The only way (IMHO) they will attract and retain publishers is by not just listening to their existing publishers (and acting upon their concerns). Part of this treating them like human beings (not corporate drones) and actually using Google's existing skills to constantly improve upon their business model for Adsense before the publishers need to suggest something to them to do.
Another tip for Google would be to report channel data in real time - although again you may say that this might be counter-productive for them as it would allow webmasters to increase the more profitable sections of their site.
The founders of Google said one of their core beliefs for the company were "You can make money without doing evil." Answering Adsense publishers enquiries with stock replies, taking large amounts of time to respond to routine enquiries - although not "evil" is suggestive of problems internal to Google (eg Adsense being more popular & quicker than they originally anticipated).
Better information for the publisher leads to a better, long-term more productive working relationship with the multinational company that is Google.
Of course these are all my personal opinions/ observations etc - I however wouldn't write them if I didn't feel they were issues that need to be addressed in the near(ish) future.
Everyone can learn something from their critics - even Google.
Do you mean that if my alternative add url is: [mysite.com...]
The amount of page views of that pages gives me an idea of how many times the add appeared and google was unable to serve the real ads?

Yes. Or if you have an image on that alternative ad URL, you can see how many times the image has been requested.
