Hmm... the Adsense tracking script problem...

Sorry to bring this up... but I forgot the URLs to both tracking scripts.

The reason I'm posting this thread is because I noticed the scripts require you to change the AdSense code should stay the same according to the TOS.

There's one that literally put everything into a iframe... but the TOS mandates that we cannot change the code.

Am I wrong here or is there a script that tracks clicks w/o messing around with AdSense code?

The scripts that were bounced around here didn't interfere with the AdSense code in any way, AdSenseAdvisor even commented (twice no less) that as long as they didn't change the code then there was nothing inherently wrong with using them.

As far as I remember the final script worked by detecting a click / focus change on the iframe object and then checking the contents of the status bar to extract the clicked URL.

This is all handled by javascript and so doesn't change (or interfere with) the AdSense code.

ps. Any idea if the main thread (1788) will make it to the library? Seems like it would be a useful addition.
