Ads displayed has nothing to do with the theme

Any way to show *related* ads?

I'm showing google adsense ads in my site. It's about travels... I thought something related would appear, most of ads shown are about finance and other non related things... time in time comes something about travels too....

I'm worried about it because my site is looking spammy with those non related ads and the money doesn't worth it really... so I wonder if is there any way to set preferences or filter those unwanted ads...

Make sure your titles and headers are travel related. There is a filter in your Adsense control panel for any URLs you think it would be beneficial to change... Tweak your content so that the finance aspect is less prominent.

My titles are ok. They talk about travel and cities mostly.
Another issue is that ads are not in the same language that my pages. My site has spanish, english and portuguese sites. Ads are mostly in english ...

The language the ads are viewed in are also to do with what country you are looking at them from, as you could be looking to learn spanish and there are examples of spanish on the page, but don't want ads in spanish if you can only speak english.

Ask Google about it if it is way off after a few days.

You can always trigger a mediabot visit and see if you can get better targeted ads. Change the ad format on the pages in question (ie. change from a banner to a leaderboard) and wait for the mediabot to come by and spider the page. Once the mediabot has visited, you can go ahead and change the ad format to the original size.
