I've had to remove adsense code from my main site but have started a second site with a different url. Can I put the code there? Or do I need another account from AdSense?

When you say "had to remove" does that mean google asked you to remove it?
If so, then you would have to apply for a new account.

Once you get approved for one site you can put your AS code on any site you like as long as that site does not break AS TOS. You can put it on a bad site but you may get banned eventualy.

No no... Google had nothing to do with the ad removal.... :-) I should have been clearer. It was because of a conflict with my employer and for competitive reasons. But the new site is in the clear and it's a similar site to the other... all very straight and aboveboard. Thanks all...
