I asked this in another thread, but no takers, so I'll ask here: was the check made out to a person, or a business? The sign-up form said "payee name" for the person, so my assumption is it's made out to "John Doe" rather than just Business, Inc., but I wanted to make sure before I get a check I can't deposit <g>.
I am still waiting for mine .. I guess, It is going to take some time to reach india ..
June was my first month of operation .. So I am eagerly waiting for my checks from google and amazon :)
Here's a funny thing - when I was applying for AdSense,
there was a field for 'Company Name', and I don't have one, so I've just put 'Individual'.
When the check arrived, it's made out to
"Individual Andy Zaitsev" :)

Something similiar happened to me with one of my affiliate programs.. The check came payable to: "I don't have a company"
When I went to cash it I had 3 other checks so I placed it at the back hoping that the guy at the bank wouldn't notice... and it worked :)

That is strange because using that forumla every business would get 'Business Name' Persons Name.
They used the payee name. It was the name of the company.
so they used only a name of the company on the check, without your first name second name?
BTW, a couple of publishers have mentioned depositing checks made out to a business name or other name. I routinely get checks made out to my site name from several affiliate vendors that just can't get it right, and my bank has never refused to accept a check. (I endorse the checks "For deposit only" and deposit them to my account via an ATM, so the bank probably doesn't look at them as carefully as it would if I were trying to get cash.)

We are lucky in US but just like what other publishers said, it could turn out a different situation in foreign countries, especially those strictly control the foreign currency. First, they would check the accuracy of the "beneficiary", not "for deposit only" or other.

It is worth having a business account if you are beginning to make some serious money.
Actually, years ago when I was the treasurer of a local chapter of a technical organization, we asked that checks for dinner meetings be made out to the correct legal name of the organization. Only a few were. Most were made out to some variation of the name, one was made out to "Mickey Mouse". The bank took them all without looking.
we are in pakistan and we havent received payment not even intimation in stats that it has been processed, i dont know why?

Google will mail you a check within 30 days after the end of each calendar month that Google AdWords ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $100 or more.
I think people got spoiled because payments for June were sent mid-July, but that was also for a partial month (AdSense began the 19th or 20th of June, I believe).
So you can expect to see a payment show up in your AdSense "Account Information" sometime in August. It is up to Google whether they want to send payments for July on August first, or wait until August 30th.
June payments showed up in the "Account Information" about a week before people actually received the checks. So we will still have a little bit more of a wait until we see checks for July. And I am sure someone will post on the AdSense board within minutes of payments showing up in the account information :)

Does it matter which day of July I started?
If I started say 11th July will I get the check paid from 11th till end of July or from 11th till now?

As for the payee name, the check was made payable to <my name><br><my company>.
I run a moderately large (10,000+ pages) general-information site that gets about 20,000 visits per day. Although advertising is not -- or should I say was not -- our major source of revenue, Google has blown the dust out of the ledger. Our ad revenue has increased roughly 4000%.
The program is dynamite for a site that has content ranging from automobiles to zoo tickets. We were never able to deliver enough eyeballs in any given category with our own sales efforts. It's a great opportunity to concentrate on content. Hope it lasts.

the payments should come within 1 month after end of former month - it is not a mercy but duty.
lasts? It cannot last: there is more or less constant pool of advertisters but number of advertisement-takers (AdSense) is increasing significantly - there will be devaluation occuring.
Only the best content sites, that are able to attract daily new visitors will be able to survive...
I think it's not by coincidence that advertising revenuews are predicted to increase.
Therefore advertiser pools grow too, perhaps faster then AdSense sites, as new sites will initially be created for AdSnese only, but may turn into full blown businesses with their own adWord needs.
