AdSense: Bad Joke on April 1st; Resurrect on Easter?

For me, AdSense played a very bad joke on April 1st... EPC plunged at least 30% while CPC and CTR stayed the same. The trend continued to go downward until yesterday, and it keeps getting better today. Now I'm back on the low 3 digit figure revenue. But still low compared to my mid 3 digit average revenue.

Sigh...

ours was a really bad Good Friday. first time ever that our revenues fell to 2-digits. really took a scourging and beating. hope earnings will resurrect by Easter

irock, Are you in the UK? I am curious if there is a difference between the US and UK regarding the impact of the AdSense algo change.

Well, 60% of my visitors come from the US. So, my site location most likely doesn't have much to do with the EPC.

And some updates...

On April 10th - which is a Saturday, my EPC dropped back to below 20c. So, I'm back to where I'm after Google's bad April Fool joke.
