How long for ads to change when page content changes?

Wondering about turn around time for target ads if page content is changed.

When adding a new page to a site I know that adsense almost immediately drops the PSA and serves targeted ads.

My question is kow long should I expect to wait if I change the content of an existing page substantially for the ads to be targeted towards the new content? I am experimenting with trying to get more profitable targeted ads by providing content that should be relevant to those ads.

Lastly, are there any existing threads the provide information on what are the on page factors that help determine the "content" adsense ads target?

It can take quite a while for the ads to upate if allyou have done is change the page content.

You can speed the process up a lot by changing the adsense style code for the adblock. That will get the bot to show up pretty quickly.

Once the bot has come around you can always change the style back, which will get the bot back again.
