I have a page which has some mistargeted ads on it. I was going to make a few copy changes to try to get the focus of the adsense ads more in line with what they should be. I understand that it can takes weeks or even months for adsense to spider a page again under normal circumstances. I was wondering how that might be speeded up. For instance, if I drop the adsense code for a day, and then add it to the page again, will the bot come around right then and respider the page?

Dropping the code and reinstalling it later would most likely work.
You can also try just switching the ad code for a different format and then switching back.
Either should bring the bot running.
If you switch formats, it'll come back again when you switch back.
