URL not visible in leaderboard

It's not the colorcode, wide skyscraper is fine

I have both leaderboards and wide skyscrapers in my site, using the same colors.

The ads in the scyscraper have the short readable URL under the ad text.

But in the leaderboards i see just the clickable title and text, not URL.

I doublechecked the color codes and they're fine. The preview in the AdSense control panel does show the URL, but in my site it's missing.

Is this just me? Or is it a bug in AdSense? Any ideas?

I see the same thing, I just assumed it was the format for that type of layout.

Well, the preview shows a different format: with the URL. So I guess it's a bug in AdSense.

arrowman - you're right, the AdSense control panel does show the URL, but the standard format for the leaderboard doesn't include a URL. I think that the preview in your account is a general idea of what the color choices you have made will look like, rather than an exact representation of the final layout.

For a good look at each ad layout, check out the 'View Samples' link from your Ad layout code page. I'll also let the AdSense team know that the preview is not clear in this regard - many thanks for pointing it out :)

Looking at the examples I guess it was a desgin decision that has to do with the thick bottom border.

Wouldn't a 'hanging leaderboard' be nice? With a thick top border and the visible URLs at the bottom.

The URLs are hidden if there are four ads in the leaderboard.

If there are less ads than four ads, the urls are shown, as there is presumably enough space then.
