I've looked around but didn't find my problem treated in other posts:
Since 3 months 90% of the times I get more than average in Adsense, the day after I'm "punished" with very low clicks. So my average goes back to normal.
Suspicious?
Is this the hyper technlogical way they use to prevent self-clicking?!?
I guess it is very effective, but what when, as in my case, I DO NOT spam?

Happened to anybody else?

Nothing like that, I can get three or four days above average in a row before my hopes for a European vacation paid on Google's dime come crashing back to earth.

I think the only sure thing one can say about Adsense is that day to day earnings are higly volatile, but that over several days a pattern can be deduced.

I am a big fan of 7 days rolling averages, that way you take out the weekend effect and can determine if you are improving, deteriorating or just remaining at the same level.

When I see an high, it tends to stick around for a few days before taking a dip back, bit like the stock market......

Its a roller coaster of a ride, which evens out nicely at the end of month, so just enjoy the ride.

Don't think there's any need to be suspicious.

This is a familiar statistical property of random distributions called "reversion to the mean". You have nothing to worry about.
