Bye. (I got a lot of work to do this morning changing some thigns on my sites.)
I have tried a couple of the 3rd party scripts but the adsense stats are better as they pull everything together......
I can now work on the area of my site that need it and leave well alone the areas that are getting good results...
Thank you adsense........
I came to one conclusion so far - rather than having highly priced ads, it is A LOT better to have highly TARGETED ads. You get less EPC, but helluva more EPM (Earning per mille) because of much better CTR.
I'm definitely going to try to get rid of the - albeit high EPC - ads for web hosting or domain registration, to get lower EPC but better targeted ads that will interest the readers.
A great tool indeed, frankly there is not muchI can or want to do in the way of layout change, but if the numbers hold after I have enough data, I might end up not advertising in adwords anymore.
Frankly the EPC from the site that I am advertising seems worse than I imagined.
Also, very low rates with Ads on the top of Page with long articles
Very intersting. I haven't set up my channels yet but it looks like doing a comparison of short article pages, long article pages and index pages would be a good way to try first. That might mean more than which domain.
Thanks everyone for the all the info. It will be interesting to see how results look after a week.

Bit of an eye-opener for us along the same lines. General page with masses of visitors CTR x%, targeted search results page 6x% CTR. Same as you, lower EPC but much better revenue.
Guess this is partly an illustration of how surfers have learnt to ignore ads. that they perceive as 'general'? In fact come to think of it that's exactly what everyone I know does - just nice to have the evidence.
Although will wait a week or so in case its a freak result!

All this EPC EPM CTR WD-40 JFK WMD adsense needs a guidebook to help people sort through these airport codes that are common in adsense conversations!
There are some channels I thought were performing better than they are and some that I didn't realize were performing as well as they are.
This information will be of great help to publishers when running our own advertising campaigns. We won't be operating in the dark anymore throwing money away at aspects of the site that are not producing results.
Nice feature and much needed :-)
I have one channel that is doing excellent! I had no idea that my profits were coming all from this specific channel. I have learned a lot thus far, and we're just getting started :) I should be able to double my profits (so will google :P) since I now know so much about what works and what doesn't.
