More than one AdSence ad on page?

Can anyone please comment on the updated AdSense guideline below? I don't understand this completely. Can I or can I not have more than one AdSense code on a single page and on what terms?

"3. Can I display more than one set of AdWords ads on a web page?
Multiple ad units may be displayed on each Web site page, but no ad unit can contain any advertisement in common with any other ad unit."

I can't find the message right now, but Adsenseadvisor addressed this the other day here in the Adsense forum.

Basically, the language is confusing, but we can still only put one adsense ad block on any given page.
